Flora
The topography
of Bahrain exhibits little variation in phytogeographical
diversity. Bahrain is considered part of eastern Arabia and
thus as part of the Saharo-Arabian phytogeographical region.
This region is characterised by having perennial shrubby chaemophyte
plants and with many ephemerals after rain. These plants form
different plant communities and associations according to
their habitats and microclimate
